Hi, I'm Simon Blake LeBlanc, a Cybersecurity Analyst from Brooklyn, CT. My journey into cybersecurity was driven by firsthand experience witnessing the devastating impact of ransomware attacks on healthcare systems. One particularly severe attack on Prospect Medical Holdings crippled multiple hospitals in Connecticut, disrupting patient care and prompting legal battles over acquisitions. Seeing the real-world consequences of these breaches fueled my commitment to protecting critical infrastructure—especially in sectors where lives depend on security and resilience.

With ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+, and the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, I’ve built a strong foundation in risk management, threat detection, secure network architecture, and vulnerability assessment. My hands-on training has equipped me to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats before they escalate into crises.

Bringing over 20 years of IT experience across diverse roles, I offer a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and business acumen that is invaluable in today’s cybersecurity landscape. At Yale New Haven Health System’s CPBS division, I provided Tier 1 technical support, managed the department’s SharePoint site, and developed revenue cycle reports—bridging the gap between IT operations and business needs. My experience as a Senior Programmer/Analyst and Enterprise Applications Administrator at United Natural Foods, Inc., where I implemented and managed critical systems like ADP HR payroll, SharePoint, and BMC Remedy, further honed my ability to oversee and secure enterprise technologies. Additionally, my background as an Oracle Reports Developer for the State of Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services and as a small business owner has strengthened my adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.

My mission is to apply this comprehensive skill set to safeguard digital environments and strengthen organizations’ security postures.
